Analysis: It's becoming increasingly clear that Mane has lost a step and is no longer the dominant, game-changing winger he was during his Liverpool days. The Al-Nassr star remains scoreless through three World Cup games despite tallying five shots (two on target). He also has nine chances created and nine crosses. Despite his lack of productivity, as he only has one assist out of the eight goals Senegal have scored in the tournament, Mane should remain in the XI if Senegal advance to the knockout stages as one of the best third-place teams.

He should continue to serve as an experienced and talented attacker for Senegal as they challenge Iraq for the third place in the group standings.
