Solid attacking effort in loss
Bacuna registered one shot (zero on goal), four crosses (one accurate) and two corners in Thursday's 2-0 defeat versus Cote D'ivoire. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 75th minute.
Analysis: Bacuna was one of Curacao's more dangerous presences going forward, creating three chances and completing three dribbles as one of the more productive attacking contributions in the match. Despite his creativity, he was unable to find a direct contribution in front of goal as Curacao fell to a 2-0 defeat that ended their debut World Cup campaign without a win.

Bacuna recorded three shots (one on goal) and three chances created in Saturday's 0-0 draw against Ecuador. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 53rd minute.
Analysis: Bacuna was one of the few players who tried to provide a spark for Curacao, and more often than not, his pace and dribbling caused problems for the opposing defense. Bacuna seemed to have sustained a knee injury in the first half, but he played through it and looked lively in the second half. If the knee doesn't bother him, expect Bacuna to remain in the XI when Curacao takes on Ivory Coast on Thursday, June 25, in the group-stage finale.
