Generates penalty in loss
Bobb generated two shots (one on goal) and one cross (zero accurate) in Friday's 4-1 defeat to France.
Analysis: Bobb was one of the most dangerous players for Norway, and despite not scoring or assisting, he kept Theo Hernandez on his toes throughout his entire 83-minute shift. Bobb could return to the bench for the Round of 32 match against Ivory Coast on June 30, however, with Alexander Sorloth expected to return to the XI.
Easing into play
Bobb is easing into play after only featuring for seven minutes off the bench last outing, according to manager Marco Silva, per Jack Kelly of Fullhamish. "He needs more time. We are working with him behind the scenes. He came from a hamstring injury, so we have to be careful with him. Sooner or later, he's going to be ready."
Analysis: Bobb is working back from a hamstring injury and just featured for the first time in around two months, getting seven minutes from the bench. However, he is still being eased into work, with the forward to be limited for the time being. However, a full return will be a boost to the club once he is fully fit and works towards starting time, set to play a decent role after his transfer from City.
