Analysis: Kokcu came back into the side after being left out when Kenan Yildiz returned and endured a tough night in duels, winning only four of 13. However, the midfielder offered two tackles and one clearance defensively.His assist came in unusual circumstances as his shot from in front of goal looked destined for the net but was tracked as off target, deflecting off teammate Baris Alper Yilmaz and going in to give him his first goal contribution of the tournament, a small consolation on a night that ended in elimination despite the victory.
Quiet outing in opener

Analysis: Kokcu was subbed off for Yunus Akgun in the 62nd minute with Turkiye down 1-0 after managing just one long-range effort in the 36th minute while struggling to make an impact from the right side of the attacking midfield trio. Australia's midfield stayed glued to him throughout the match and he failed to produce a single key pass in a disappointing outing for a player who built his reputation as a high-level creator during his standout spells with Feyenoord and now Besiktas. The early hook reflected just how little Turkiye's attack was able to get going against Australia's disciplined and well-organized defensive setup.
